The system (GovConnect) has encountered an Unexpected Error - Error Code is A511.04

Question

Why do I get the error “The system has encountered an Unexpected Error - Error Code is A511.04” when attempting to process my BAS through GovConnect?

Answer

This is an error message generated by the Federal Government’s SBR Core Services Server and can be encountered on any report lodgment to any government agency.  It can happen on any stage of the process – the List, Pre-Fill, Pre-Lodge or Lodge.

 

It is a “time-out” error.

 

Solution

Wait a few minutes and submit your request again.
